How to WIN at life? The question that shifted it all for me!

How to WIN at life? The question that shifted it all for me!

Not too long ago I would say my relationship with life was "complicated". It looked like I had my shit together on the outside, but on the inside I was struggling. I had a "good" job, "good" pay,  "good body" ... and the list goes on.

But on the inside, I felt disconnected. I wanted something that had more meaning. I wanted to do work that left an impact. I wanted to wake up every day excited about what I was doing. Although I knew in my heart THAT was possible, I found myself believing it was all too good to be true-- because that's what most people around me believed.

Finally, in 2016, I felt my fears and pushed my ego aside! I left my "good" job and started my own business! I can honestly say I wake up with passion, do work I love and feel so much happier a daily basis.

The one thing that has made a huge impact on my overall commitment and growth (especially this year) is this simple yet powerful QUESTION:

What does my best/highest self do on a daily basis?
aka the most ALIVE, HAPPY + CONFIDENT version of myself?!

It sounds so simple. I know. It's probably not what you expected.

THE TRUTH IS, we can get caught up in the everyday routine, expectations from others, what everyone else is doing and ultimately lose sight of what makes US truly happy.

I'll be honest, I had to get really damn honest with myself.

+ one of the first things that came to my mind was WORKING OUT (like a badass).

I LOVE THE FEELING of putting in a good work out, the feeling of a good sweat sesh.
I always leave feeling refreshed, confident + ready to take on the day!

There is no denying that.

So instead of focusing on a certain image/ weight, or the "should's",  I decided to shift my focus to the FEELING I get when I work out. (which is something along the lines of "I'm a badass + I can take on the world"....lol)

So, what does the most successful, happy version of you look like? What does she do?

How does she feel?

DO THAT! FOCUS YOUR ENERGY THERE.

THE SECOND PART IS KEY...

Fully commit to that version of you!

The badass version of you that doesn't let fear run her world.

The version of you that knows she can do anything she puts her mind to.

The version of you that you know you're capable of becoming!

Recently, I was lucky enough to hit the gym and give it my all with this badass look, thanks to Reebok (Reebok’s new Speed TR 2.0 shoe and activewear line.) Seriously though, the shoe is designed for all types of movement making it perfect for cross-training.

Focusing on being the best possible version of myself has completely changed the way I do life, in the best way possible! It doesn't just look like I'm winning at life on the outside but more than anything, I feel fulfilled on the inside!!! -- which to me is WAY more important!

As a Mindset Coach, I fully believe in training your mind and body to be it's best, because what the mind believes, the body achieves! One thing I do know is that working out and training my mind and body on a daily basis has become a lifestyle that I LOVE and that I am proud of.

MAJOR TAKEAWAY:

GET CLEAR ON WHAT MAKES YOU TRULY HAPPY + START TAKING STEPS TOWARDS BEING THE BEST POSSIBLE VERSION OF WHO YOU ARE AND WHO YOU'RE CAPABLE OF BEING, EVERY DAMN DAY.
